This is just pure dumb! Basically “Dunkin’ Donuts” has canceled their online advertisement after complaints were made regarding the scarf she wore. Apparently it symbolised support for terrorism. Below is the image:

Dunkin’ Donuts said it pulled the ad cos of what it calls a “misperception” about the scarf that detracted from its original intent to promote its iced coffee.

Critics, including conservative commentator Michelle Malkin, complained that the scarf appeared to be traditional garb worn by Arab men. The ad’s critics say such scarves have come to symbolise Muslim extremism and terrorism.

I actually own the black and white scarf that I purchased from Peacock few months back, I saw them selling it in all major clothing shops, such as TopMan and Primark. I don’t know about America but in UK it’s a big fashion accessory. So all those people wearing it must be either terrorists or supporting terrorists!!

Perhaps American should ban socks and jackets too, I am sure terrorists wear them… I really hope majority of the Americans aren’t dumb, stupid, useless, uneducated, low lives who can’t think for themselves as people who voted ‘yes’ to say they found the scarf offensive.

LOL my uncle works for DD in the US. Should speak to him about this. The yanks have always been paranoid. They’re right about one thing it is worn by Arab and generally muslim men around the world. But it seems to be very popular with non-muslim women in the UK! Everyone seems to be wearing these scarfs these days.

One thing that it does prove is the power of advertising. This image showing a Happy American with an Arab (Muslim) garment could get people to empathise with Arabs (Muslims) they exact same people the US administration WANT to be at war with!

Thanks for the post akhi. wasalam
