Turks elect ex-Islamist president

Just before you are wondering what the hell is ‘ex-Islamist’, it basically means he has a Islamist background, Islmist (the term obviously invented by favorite kuffar politicians and extreme secular western lovers) basically means he’s a practicing Muslim.

Abdullah Gul pictured above with his wife, who by the way has been criticised for wearing the headscarf became the first politician with an Islamist background since the creation of the deeply stupid secular Turkish Republic in 1923.

By the way the headscarf is currently banned from public institutions in Turkey.

Mr Gul secured 339 votes in the 550-seat parliament but he had to take oath at a ceremony in parliament, pledging loyalty to man made law (democracy) and to the deaf, dumb and blind secular Republic. He had to say: “As long as I am in office, I will embrace all our citizens without any bias,”.

Even after that on Monday the military warned about threats to the secular constitution. Turkey’s military and secular establishment suspect he might harbour a secret Islamist agenda because he is considered to be a devout Muslim.

I still don’t know why it’s called “friendly fire” when the US soldiers kills a British soldier. What does the term actually mean? Does it mean oh they were being friendly and greeting them by launching a bomb on them? you know just as a fun and to show how friendly they are.

Anyways…

It is understood the soldiers were killed when US fighter planes dropped a bomb where MoD was patrolling. It was a F15 aircraft and the soldiers were declared dead at the scene.

Other day the show was broadcasted on ITV, I didn’t get the chance to watch all of it, because I was watching some dumb referee give penalty to Chelsea against Liverpool, when Chelsea player himself (I think it was Malouda) didn’t appeal for it.

Anyways I had a feeling it will be up on youtube soon, and it is up there now. Personally the show was better than I expected it to be, specially because of all the anti-muslim programs that have been broadcasted by the mainstream media to portray Islam as evil dark religion.

They had few smart, well knowledgeable Muslim representative, such as Abdur Rahim Green, Hamza Yusuf Hanson and Dr. Usama Hasan. Although I didn’t really like the cartoonish drawings of people, but it was good dawah, alhamdulilah. If you missed the program you can watch it here:
